We Respect the "Four Principles:"

PREP

We move furniture, cover surfaces and make sure the area is ready for painting.

PROTECT

We ask that you take out electronics, kids, pets and valuables ahead of time.

PAINT

We work our magic using only the highest quality Benjamin Moore, Maxum and Sherwin Williams paints.

PUT AWAY

We clean up after ourselves.  Give us a vacuum and we'll leave the area cleaner then when we came in. Even if you use our Handyman Services.
(Sorry we don't do windows!)

How long will it take to start my job?
A job can be started within a week or two (exterior depends on the weather), once we receive a signed proposal, a deposit and the selected paint colors. A job cannot be started unless all paint colors have been chosen.

How long will it take to complete my job once it has started?
Once a project is started, we show up every day (Monday through Saturday) until the job is complete. We work 6 days a week 8 – 10 hours a day. The only exception is under certain weather conditions (exterior projects).

When are estimates done?
An estimator will arrive at your home during regular business hours of Monday through Thursday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. Each appointment has a 1 ½ hour window. The first appointment of the day is scheduled between 9:00 am and 10:30 am and the last appointment of the day is scheduled 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Unfortunately we do not have evening appointments. It s imperative to have as much natural light as possible when doing an estimate, this will ensure the most accurate assessment of your home.

Do I have to be home for the estimate?
Yes, a homeowner must be present during the estimate to ensure the estimator fulfills the needs of the homeowner and creates an accurate proposal.

We schedule estimates in 1 ½ hour increments so you do not have to wait all day.

Can I supply my own paint?
Yes. When the customer supplies his own material there will be a small charge to cover the cost of primer, caulk, putty, etc. PETE THE PAINTER, INC. reserve the right to void the entire guarantee if, in our opinion, the paint supplied is not of superior quality. When the property owner supplies the materials, he is responsible for picking up the paint in sufficient quantities prior to the job to ensure that the crew does not run out of supplies. The customer who supplies his own paint is also responsible to supply paint for any guarantee work to be provided.
