Those shiny brass ones always catch my eye. And if the porch light doesn't respond to removing the dead bugs out of the globe you might look into a shiny new one of those too.
Oil the hinges on the storm door. No creak is a good creak when the front door is opened.
A fresh coat of paint with the help of boat deck painting tips in Kenilworth and some lithium on the hinges of the front is a good idea too.
Once you decide to sell dig out the spreader, pick up some nitrogen fertilizer and green up the yard. Water frequently so it looks nice and green. And put some weed killer too so what's green is actually grass.
All fishing boats and RVs should be moved to a long term storage lot.
Remove any unsightly stains from your deck. Seal it. Same goes for any ugly oil stains on the garage floor. If need be use dry cement to pull out the stain like magic.
Put a fresh coat of driveway sealant on your asphalt driveway. And if buyers are scheduled, park your vehicles down the street. So your drive is clearly visible.
Paint the siding if appropriate. Replace any siding that's cracked, dented, or marred in any way. Same for the gutters and downspouts. And hose down the shutters. You want the exterior of the house to telegraph it has been well maintained.
